- Fiona M23 contributionsWe had a fantastic Distillery visit and were totally blown away with their single malts. Douglas was amazing. A real hidden gem of the Distillery world. - Trek186625Dundee, UK6 contributionsWe visited the castle country park on Sunday and had a brilliant day out. With a 19 month old, 6 year old and 10 year old in tow there was plenty for everyone and we spent over 4 hours here. The Fairy Trail is fantastic and great for the imagination, the dry slope sledge was a huge hit with all children and adults. And theres was plenty to do in the play parks. Lots of space for a picnic. But I would say watch where you decide to lay out the mat or where the kids are running because random parts of the park are quite marshy, also the day we were there there seemed to be alot of animal poo around (which of course can't be helped with wild animals). - Loumatthws16 contributionsMarvellous day with 4 year old playing in clean white sand, riding tractors and sledge, playing with water wall, climbing on well maintained playground equipment, bouncing on inflatables etc etc etc. All set in well kept grassed areas. Could nit fault the 5 or so hours spent there and well worth the drive from aberdeen. The Church is open for visitors and has an interesting ceiling and lighting . A small balcony . Lady Christian Maule had this drinking fountain commissioned in 1877 in memory of her brother Fox Maule Ramsay ( what a colourful name) - who was born in 1801 , and died heirless in 1874.
