The church is delightful and historic, with murals covering the ceiling and otherwise very decorative. It is a haven of peaceful contemplation in the middle of the busy city.

Excellent refurbishment. Interesting exhibits on the restoration of centuries-old churches after the 2013 earthquake. The current exhibit on works of native son and National Artist for Sculpture Napoleon Abueva is a must-see.

As of my visit mid March of 2022 this attraction is not currently open to visit. The small shop next door told me it was closed due to lack of tourism. The main gates and entry are locked however the attraction is still visible and you can get a side on picture from the entrance ramp of the hotel / cafe on the other side of the area. I'm hoping someone will update TA in the future when it's opened again.

This museum once served as the house of Carlos P. Garcia, the 8th president of the Philippines who also hails from Bohol. A quick tour around the house will give you a glimpse of the life of the late president. One may quickly guess what sort of hobby he is fun of basing on the large chess board located in the front yard and the number of trophies he had on that sport.

Entrance to the museum is free but there is a donation box available if you wish to help in the upkeep of the place. A cafeteria serving hot and cold beverages is located just beside the museum.

Balay Kabilin is a heritage house that also serves as the center for Boholano cultural heritage research. Enthusiasts can learn a lot about the province's rich culture here while casual travelers can tour around the house and take as many photos as they like.

When I visited (July 2019) the place, there isn't much to see at all. The second floor is completely empty, except for a tiny shelve located at the far end filled with books. These books doesn't seem to be really about Bohol though, more about the Philippines in general.

For now, don't expect any galleries to greet you on your visit. Good thing there isn't any entrance fee though, and there is a parking lot available if you come by with a vehicle.

This is one of the places you might want to stop by and see if you are visiting Bohol, but if you are in a hurry and time is limited, I would put it lower not he list of things to do

I highly recommend Kayakasia Philippines for your firefly watching and guided kayak experience. Vince our Pro Kayak guide was very informative and enriching as he discuss the importance of Abatan river ecosystem and the fireflies. I highly suggest to avail and use kayak when you want to explore the river. On my personal view motorized boats are too disturbing for the ecosystem.

Dinner is served after the trip and the menu is outstanding Kudos to Derk and the kitchen team. They will ask you as you book if you do have food allergens, they will take care of you on that.👍👍👍
Salute for the ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ awesome customer service courtesy of Bai Rey Donaire.

    Thank you very much!! #kayakasiaphilippines #BaliksaBohol #BugsaysaBohol

The Honda XR-150 was the perfect bike on the backroads. The bike was in like new conditions and in good shape mechanically. This really made for a stress free experience. The bike was even delivered and picked up at our location as we requested. Would definitely rent again when we visit Bohol!

its my first time in bohol and first time in thai royal spa, both didnt disappoint me. I chose combination package #3, 1 hr swedish with 30 mins back massage. (fyi there's an add 30 if u want aroma oil and free if regular oil). First thing she did was wash and clean my feet, then i waited in the room for 5 mins, she went to get the stuffs she needed. (another fyi they provide shorts). It was a very good hard massage with pattern, relieved my body ache for touring around bohol for 3 days on a motorbike. After the massage she offered a hot tea with hot towel to clean myself off (last fyi, after massage she sprayed water on my body and wiped it off with a clean towel, so no worries about goin home oily). To sum it up, i would love to go back here but i dont live in bohol, but i will surely look for another thai royal spa on my next trip.

I still remember my experience with bohollife tours wayback 2019. They made our trip memorable and hassle free. We were very grateful to our driver, (iforgot the name) and the owner. They were always there anytime you need them. Just im sad, We were planning to go back in PH next year and planning to bring my whole family in Bohol but I found out they are closed now. :( I would like to book the again..I hope they will open again someday..
