- Mike MAberdeen, UK40 contributionsVisited the Castle for the annual Christmas Fare. A lovely welcome by the owner included a mulled Wine. The castle was filled with craft stalls with lotd of nice goodies for sale. Most craft stall holders were dressed in traditional " victorian " dress.

This well placed/positioned statue relates to local/British political historical events occurring at the early part of the last century, where the coo was used as a political tool to make a demonstrative point against the government/Prime Minister (Lloyd George) at that time.
The coo was owned by Mr Robert Paterson of Lendrum, near Turriff. The coo is a good representation of the determined, stubborn, communal spirit of this area of Aberdeenshire.Written 4 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - RoamamindaglomanAddis Ababa, Ethiopia32 contributionsPlayed in an open scramble and was shocked at the condition of the course, it was amongst the best conditions I’ve ever played. The pro shop was vibrant with plenty of activity yet it seemed the pro had a warm welcome for everyone effortlessly selling, sorting, and welcoming. The course whilst not the longest has some great challenges and tricks up its sleeve all amongst the stunning backdrop of the Deveron valley. This was topped off with a great value meal in the clubhouse.
Would heartily recommend, and will surely visit again if I’m in the area.Written 18 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Gwen C1 contributionBeing able to get books again! - roadrunner68aberdeenshire39 contributionsFlew on 30th August with two friends from Turriff with Martin and his crew. A fantastic experience from start to finish! Helped get the balloon ready which added to the excitement after a little wait to ensure wind died down for safest flying conditions. The sun broke through as we took off and stayed out for the entire flight over the Aberdeenshire countryside, beautiful views all the way to the sea at Fraserburgh and towards the mountains past rolling farmland. Saw deer, swallows in flight, loads of very interested farm animals and quite a few people waving as we soared overhead before landing in a field at New Deer for Bucks Fizz, champagne or orange juice. So peaceful up in the air, could have stayed there all day! A must do for any age! We were very lucky to get up on our first attempt. Bus back to Turriff to collect car, very well organised and Martin and his crew very friendly, felt in good safe hands throughout.Written 31 August 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Margaret Reidfo... BAberdeen2 contributionsWe asked for a horseshoe arrangement for a close family member's funeral. The arrangement received was beautiful and well above our expectations and was very reasonably priced. I would certainly recommend them for any floral requirements.Written 25 November 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- equalities_championHuntly, UK75 contributionsI can not fault the welcoming and friendly staff and the excellent home bakes and food I had. All well priced and staff were attentive and friendly. However I found the soft play a bit grubby and the room is far too cold and dingy. We found sticky areas, sweet wrappers and a plaster as well as fluffy dust. I understand ita a big area but it really needs cleaning properly.I do understand that they do not want to overheat the soft play but it was far too cold for our wee ones. Once again I could not fault the staff but a little more effort needs to be made with the soft play.Written 17 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
