What travelers are saying
- cidernethong kong104 contributionsthere is a park with a lot of space, freestyle riders will not be disappointed. If you drive there, there are 2 main parking lots.Written March 11, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - aussielouisaSydney, Australia21 contributionsMany long green (beginner) runs to learn to ski (I was an absolute beginner at the start of this week). Amazing scenery too!Written January 31, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Hannah SBuderim, Australia74 contributionsThere are some great green runs here for beginners and ski parks with some little jumps. There are a few restaurants to choose from and an onsen about 10 minute walk down the road.Written March 7, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tom BMelbourne, Australia1,581 contributionsAn amazing boutique ski resort with deep powder and lots of options - runs, trees and a challenging bowl by the Ticket office.Written January 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rod WWarwick, Australia35 contributionsMy only complaint about this lovely ski area is snow boarders whose sole aim is to get from the top to bottom as fast as possible whilst shredding the piste.Written February 29, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jub07perth53 contributionsThis is a lovely ski area for beginners and intermediates. it is quiet most of the time, even weekends weren't too busy. however, the runs aren't always groomed which can be a problem. also the infrastructure is pretty old and run down on some slopes. overall though, we had a great time!Written February 24, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maria Theresa E... EParanaque, Philippines3 contributionsMyoko is the town in the valley near Myokokogen Station and its located one hour north of Nagano in the Niigata prefecture. While staying at Myokokogen in my Aunts house I can go out where ever I want its easy to roving around there because there are enough English signs around to make life easy but not enough English signage in Ski areas.Of course Myoko Kogen is famed for the abundant snow. Even though they have a traditional Japanese Vibe all the facilities are already set up for westerns and families. you can always find many onsens, like hotel based onsens to delightful outdoor hot spring surrounded by nature. I love coming back to Myoko Kogen.Written September 4, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
