Small and very bright temple complex with a huge turtle as the main attraction. It was really hot so we spent most time cooling off inside the wonderful painted main hall. BTW there are two enticing coffee shops next to the car park.

Wow, where to start. We are just halfway through a 4 week tour of Thailand and this is head and shoulders the best temple we have seen. Immediately on entering the temple compound we were confronted with an absolutely huge golden reclining buddha, absolutely magnificent....More

There is a coffee shop near by and nothing much about Buddha statue and Temple. I just accidentally visit Wat Pong Sunan.

Wats are like flies in Thailand, they are everywhere. After all your eyes start to glaze over. They almost all have a kind of serene beauty, but a Wat needs something if it is to be at all memorable. Pong Sunan has an immense reclining...More

This is a very nice new temple. A big reclining Buddha in of it also. Both the indide and outside was very nice for being a new temple. I went here a couple of tines because my hotel was very close to it.

Pongsunan temple is a rather new temple, built in the early 20th century. It houses a museum and has a huge reclining Buddha statue in the front of the temple.
