A lovely place to while away the time. Plenty of Roman architecture alongside Bulgarian cultural items. Cost was a couple of Levs.. (less than 1 Euro) per person and well worth a visit.

This is a must see addition to any ski holiday in Borovets, the Roman exhibits alone are better than anything you will see in the UK, exquisite glassware and there is so much else associated with the location. The curators were excellent in greeting us...More

The Historical Museum of Samokov is a place where you can learn more about the history of this area of Bulgaria. It will be interesting for History Lovers.

It is a very small museum, but full of interesting things to see! The icons exhibition is great. We also saw an exhibition of the beginning of Bulgarian photography.
