Unlike the name suggests "Andretta Artists Village" this place has nothing much to offer other than learning pottery techniques. It's overall a small clean village. Apart from the Shobha Singh art gallery, which is a much see, this place really has nothing much to offer.

Located in a small village near Palampur, this is a must visit for kids, they will learn and be astonished with the variety of things one can do with clay.

You can see artists work and try making pottery yourself under the supervision and while getting tips from a professional (who probably will not speak English). They have a excellent shop that sells plates, bowls etc, all decorated very beautifully.

This place for visitors is not recommended. Over hyped.. Clear waste of half a day.. The product s on sale were very expensive. Tourists can give it a miss.

Place to have own experience in pottery but charges are very high and seem unreasonable. The prices of items on sale are also exorbitantly priced.

Sorry, I am writing in late. As stated above by other people, Andretta is approximately 12-14Km from Palampur. I advise a Cab ride to and fro as returning from that place in a local transport can be tricky - they are usually... More
