love the almost white beach! enjoyed swimming and playing with the kids along the shoreline. great for morning walks. food and drinks are reasonably priced. they have a pool, huts and villas, and even an area where you can put up a tent. it's a bit far from the centre, took us about 20 minutes on a private car. nice place for family outings and for a relaxing summer fun!

How can one resist the powdery sand, the perfect diving board, the rock formations, the zipline and wall climbing, and the very relaxing floating cottages. None will beat the beach life where you can beach bum, have drinks and great Filipino food, and tons of activities the resort offers. If you're looking for a getaway thats not drowned with the crowd, this is for you. This is the happy island where mountaineers, divers, or even beach bums will really enjoy.

It's former name was Igang beach but its now renamed and called Twin Rock Beach Resort. I have seen this resort transform from an ordinary-looking resort to a "better looking" resort, way better than other resorts that I have been to in some other parts of the country. It is properly maintained and kept clean. There are also lots of activities to choose from, Ziplining, Kayaking, Rappelling... these are some other activities you can do here aside of course from swimming :) Oh, by the way, speaking of swimming, you can choose to swim on the pristine salty ocean water or the Pool. Their pool is divided into 2 areas, one for adults and the other one for Kids with a sliding area that my son loves so much. They owners of this place are wise and kind enough to develop this Resort to a place that Kids and Adults will both love. The Entrance Fee is very affordable too, at Php 50 only, you can already enjoy the beautiful sight of the mixture of green mountains embracing the aquamarine blue waters with that almost identical huge rocks nestled at the middle part of the ocean to which the name Twin Rock Resort hails. If you plan to stay longer, there are lots of Rooms to choose from, they have Standard fan rooms, Air-con rooms, Family rooms and even Dorm type Accommodation perfect for large groups on a budget, which makes this place a perfect venue not just for bakadas and family gatherings but also for Company outings. Never let a moment pass when you visit Virac to drop by here for some R&R. Surely you'll go back to city feeling refreshed and relaxed.

A good 30 minutes drive from Luyang Cave Park brought us to Twin Rock Beach Resort in Igang and honestly, I’m expecting roaring waves and surfers when my cousin told us that we are headed to the beach.
Arriving at the resort we were greeted by two iconic limestone rock formations at its semi-circular pinkish sand beach. Surprised by its tranquility, not a little time was wasted as we took our first splash on the calm and comely waters where in which rich sanctuaries of colourful marine life lies. The shallow beach cove breaks down the great pacific waves and turning it into rhythmic ripples to lap at the shores, making the cove an ideal spot for relaxing dips and kayaking. Bring your colorful beach outfits and sand buckets, slippers are ideal to as you may visit the two limestone rocks during low-tides. For a fee of Php150, we could readily access the resort's facilities including their pools.

I took a tricycle from Virac to reach Igang, which is only about 30minutes from the poblacion. People usually go to the Twin Rock Resort to enjoy the beach and the rock formations that surround it. The sea and the beach themselves are not really that spectacular compared with other places in Catanduanes, but they form a nice backdrop for picture-taking.

A very developed beach resort, although the beach itself is full of grasses/mosses. The place is good for photo-ops due to the twin-rock.
You can walk to the edge of the beach, there is a spring board and you can go swimming.

A lot of activities can be done here as it is annexed to a private resort. For the adventurers, head up to the diving site where the water is deep.

I originally intended to stay at the resort here but gave up because of the impractical online booking process. The beach is in an isolated location so you will need to take transport to get to and from. Though if your staying at the resort you have everything you need. Nice looking clean beach. Great place for families with children.
