On the place where this Church was build, Dimitry, the sun of Ivan the Terrible, was assassinated. The frescoes inside tell the story.

The red brick church with blue domes has been built to remember Ivan the Terrible's son Demitry who was murdered here. You are allowed to take pictures inside by paying a charge. Nice to hear the story behind while you visit this place. Recommended.
