Neighborhood: Bondi Beach
An iconic Australian suburb, Bondi Beach is famous for its fantastic beaches and views. Once the domain of backpackers, hundreds of tourists from all over the world descend en masse to Bondi in December ready to enjoy the "Aussie summer". Bondi Beach boasts impressive ocean views all along the many restaurants and bars on Campbell Parade. Wake up early and take a dip in the surf before walking the scenic stretch from Bondi to Coogee Beach. Stroll through the Saturday organic markets in North Bondi or grab some fish and chips and relax in the grassy area opposite the beach. For more upscale cuisine, head down to Hall Street where a range of new eateries have recently opened. Just make sure to save enough energy for the buzzing nightlife Bondi Beach has to offer.

Iconic setting, beautiful views, and a pretty good price for entry to a pool compared to some in the States. A great memory to go home with!

Had a superb lunch with friends, service food and ambiance all made our lunch memorable, especially as they knew and made us Sgroppino our favorite Italian cocktail which finished our meal with sheer delight!!

We didn't really want to get changed but we thought you only live once and it was well worth it as the beach was even more crowded!

Visited Bondi beach on a very windy day, and walked to the Iceberg club for lunch. Views form the terrace are amazing. However, the sea was so rough, the pool was close for safety reasons.

The site is stunning. You get to swim in a 50 m pool with water circulated from the ocean. It’s not heated so just Google water temperature at Bondi Beach and you’ll have a pretty good idea of the pool temp. Visibility in the water was ok but not great. Makes dodging other swimmers a challenge. Changing room has hot showers and lockers.

Entrance is paid, but in principle it is worth it. On the seashore, but at the same time in the pool. Swim to the sound of pain)

The Iceberg pool is so cool! I’ve never been to a beach with a pool overlooking the ocean. I went last May so it was too cold for my friend and I to swim, but it was on our list of things to see in Australia. We just walked around and took pictures so you don’t have to pay the fee to do that.

We were so grateful that the people we were visiting had a membership to this establishment. We were able to witness firsthand that they will not let people walk in without paying an extra fee (I think it was $25?). It's very casual dining with views that are priceless. They were very accommodating in asking our questions and 'tweeking' a drink just for me. We loved being able to sit by the water and watch people swimming their laps in the cooler pool. It was just like a post card! We had a beautiful warm and sunny day, so I know that helped with our overall experience!

We were so excited to see and swim only to find out with our eyes how dirty it is. It is not even as close on the photo. I understand that it is connected to the beach but it is insanely dirty.

Was here on New Year’s Day and the place was hopping. Got a complimentary entry due to our American IDs. The restaurant is quite big with both indoor and outdoor seating. Ordered some prawns and sandwiches. The prawns were huge and the food was surprisingly very tasty. Didn’t expect it to be that good but it was. The food and pint of beers were reasonably priced as well.

Nice views of Bondi Beach from up here. I like the setup where you just order from the counter and pick up your food when it’s ready.
