Our hotel recommended a beach club/bar that we tried to find but they where closing for the season and we stumbled across this place next door and it looked cool and had some mellow tunes playing that were an IBIZA vibe so we plotted up. It wasn’t busy at first but as it got later in the day more and more locals started to appear for lunch so we decided to eat. They did a reasonably good spaghetti with clams and a side salad that was cheap however they don’t really have great wines so stick to an aperol spritz or beer. Nice staff.

If you’re visiting in August, be prepared to pay €30 for two sun beds and an umbrella. That’s rather expensive given that: beds are often covered with sand and you need to clean them yourself, the umbrellas need some urgent fixing because they’re so old/thin you can hardly get any shade under them, there’re lots of cigarette buds in the sand and the toilet is just a disgrace. Also, they put loud music blasting from the speakers at times, which is really a shame. I wouldn’t mind spending an extra if they offered adequate conditions. On a more positive note, there are fewer umbrellas than in other beach clubs so the place gets less crowded. There’s a shower on the beach for €0.50. They also serve simple but decent food for lunch. Again, prices are a rip-off but I guess they just have to make the most of the summer months.
