If you are interested in German history, then you should enjoy this museum. Despite appearing under-resourced and a bit disorganised do not detract from the interesting displays/exhibits. Easy to combine with a trip to the nearby Tree-top walk, and adjacent beach.

Standing in front of this building is impressive. The huge scale of this project is just massive. It's one of those megastructures i wanted to know more about. The museum however won't help you much further. There is hardly any information available in other languages...More

It is hard to picture the magnitude of these buildings, you have to see for yourself. 4,5 km long in total, four buildings, sports hall, theatre etc etc. It has been in decline for 80 years but is now being restored and turned into apartments....More

You will find 2 exhibitions about the Prora Building. The Dokumentationszentrum is informative, great lay out and very interesting. You will find the exhibitions right by the car park. The other museum NVA museum, offer 5 or 6 floors of different rubbish on display, really...More

What can you say about the scale of delusion that must have existed in the min=d of the people responsible for this. Brutalist architecture to the extreme. But then check out the renovated apartments, and not just the euro prices involved.
