A beautiful stretch of the river Danube which is blanketed with vineyards and ornamented with cute villages. Don’t miss it if you are travelling through on one of the river cruises – its picture perfect.

We took one of the boat trips throug the valley from Melk to Krems. The scenery is stunning and there are a number of interesting castles, churches, etc to see along the way. And LOADS of vineyards!
