I probably wouldn't make a long drive to this particular waterfall, but if you're staying within walking distance, as I was, it makes a nice walk for an hour or two. I don't know if I really lucked out, but when I visited (walked from Sanctuaria Treehouses) there were only three other people there, and they left shortly after I arrived. Ddn't see anyone other than locals on the walk in or out. It's not the most spectacular of waterfalls, esp nearing the end of dry season, but the water was clear and the perfect temp to jump into after a hot walk to get there.

NOTE: This is an easy enough walk from the road for people with good mobility, but getting down to the water and then back up is steep and can be slippery. So you do want good hiking shoes, and good mobility!

The location is a little bit far from Coron town, about 1 hour drive, depending on the driver and driving conditions. A minor trekking along a trail will lead to this waterfalls. The best time to visit this place is during the rainy season because the water is much more than during summer. There is no entrance fee and three cottages are also available for free use, on a first come first serve basis. Sunday is the day where a lot of people and most locals visits, so if you want to go on a Sunday, be there earlier.

The water is beautiful and it is great to see the local kids and families having fun in the cool, shady water. I wasn't sure if we were ruining their secret place or if they found us entertaining!
The real shame is the litter - there is a lot of rubbish around the falls and the seating area is very dirty. It would be lovely if it was taken care of a little better.
I became ill during my stay in Palawan and I have no idea what caused it (food or otherwise) but it was after visiting the falls. I don't want to say it was the falls that caused me to become ill as I do not know but thought I would mention it just in case you are unsure.

Concepcion falls is 40kms from Coron town, with a height of around 3 to 4 meters, the plunge pool or waterfall lake is also small in diameter, around ten meters and it's shallow just around 2 feet. The deepest part at the base of the waterfalls is around 7 feet.
Pros: near the highway, just around 600 meters walk; refreshing cold water after travelling; FREE entrance (accept donation);
Cons: far from Coron where we are staying; the falls was so small and shallow
If you have limited time you can omit this from your itinerary, only very few people visited that place when we went there.

I really like this place. It's very adventurous. The water falls in the forest and the water is cool and clear. On the day we went there was no one. There were only girls and boys there. Come entertain and play in the water with us. Show us how to climb up to the top of the rock. and jump down to a safe place The children were very cute, had a lot of fun, and were very impressed. At the pool, there is a very deep section and a shallow section. You can jump into the pool from the rocks. yes

Loved it. I went a few times, the place is beautiful. A blue lagoon with a 10 ft waterfall. Great place to hang out for the afternoon with a couple friends a bottle of rum. Try to avoid Sundays because of the number of people, but most days you would have it to yourself. Bring a book and a hammock. Something to BBQ. Make sure to keep it clean, it looks like they are trying to improve the place by putting in garbage cans to encourage people to respect the environment.

It is worth a stop if heading to Ocam Ocam or rio playa beach from Coron town. However, it is nothing amazing. The “fall” is very small. Larger swimming area but again, nothing great. Refreshing escape if you have nothing else to do but far from town.

On our way back from our Coral Garden and Shipwreck adventure we dropped by the falls which is a tiny one and not so clear waterfalls. You register and give a donation when you enter the area. after experiencing Kawasan falls in cebu this destination was a disappointment .

We decided to go here on our last day in Coron and we are really glad we did. It's bit of a trek to get there but it's worth it. A nice dip in the cool water is a welcome reward for making it. I see lots of reviews about it being very dirty. We saw a little trash on the trail to the falls but saw absolutely no trash at the falls or in the pool below the falls. Definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for something fun to do.

I went on New Year's Day 2016 with relatives who live in the province. It was highly recommended and I saw it listed as one of the things to see and do while in Busuanga, Palawan.

I was very disappointed.

#1. My first impression as I reached the top of the path that looks down into the area: Definitely don't visit on weekends or holidays. It was crowded and hardly any place to sit or walk. It was filthy and I felt like I was walking into a squatter community.

It was heavily polluted with trash and empty bottles of alcohol.
Our family was able to secure one of the concrete picnic areas as one group was leaving. It was filthy and we had to rinse it down. I completely lost my appetite because of the filth and the proximity of the public washroom to the picnic area. There were also stray dogs there begging for food.

It's free to go visit this area, but still not worth it.

If hiring staff to enforce environmental and health regulations, and keep the area clean and safe means an entrance fee to visit the area, then it would be worth the expense. There is potential but A LOT of work and clean up needs to be done. People have to look after this gift of nature and have respect for the environment.

So disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's an embarassment to the community. Knowing how disgusting it was, I wouldn't go back even during off-peak times. I'd only step foot if I knew there was a complete overhaul/clean up and sanitation of the area.
