Decent drive. Get there as early as possible to avoid congestion. Mass is done hourly. Outside mass is at noon on Sundays. Very spiritual.

beautiful view from up there. It takes a while to get all the way up there but it's worth it. Take a sweater cause it gets kind a cool up there in the afternoon.

I visited here during this past Easter season. Be prepared for a long 5 mile slow drive up the mountain as the road is paved with rocks and the drive is very bumpy for that reason or you will mess up the cars shocks. but...More

This is the central point of Mexico, at list that was though when this monument was raised. There is nice church below the monument and the view from there is amazing.

It is located on geographic center of Mexico on top of "El Cubilete" Hill 2600 meters over sea level. It was built during "La Cristiada" when catholic people was persecuted by Mexican Government just because of their believes.

There is parking at the top, but very few spaces. You need to get there really early to gain access to the available spaces at the top. Even after you park it is still a bit of a walk up to the top.
