Bordering with China,this peak has a height of 22,500 feet.According to Monpa tribe,this peak is considered to be one of the sacred peaks protecting them from all the evils.The peak is one of the ideal bases for trekking and mountaineering in the entire region.

You get a glimpse of this magnificent peak on your way to Bomdila from Dirang. Its a easily distinguishable mountain peak with its snow capped top between other brown mountain peaks

Just when you leave the Bomdila town, on a clear day, one is greeted with the beautiful view of the Gorichen peak when driving to Dirang. The scene is lovely as you have the green mountains and these peaks literally peaking out in between.

This is nothing but a marvelous mountain pick view. This comes on route from Bomdila to Tawang. The view is awesome.
