This chateau is only open for a brief period during the summer and even then not every day so it is advisable to check the opening times before going there. We went just after lunch on a Monday at the beginning of September and were the only two visitors so we had a private tour with the information provided in English.
The tour starts on the outside with an explanation of the architecture and then a visit to the small garden areas which are traditionally planted. Inside no photography is allowed which I can understand as it is a private house and there are personal items including photographs displayed.
It isn't a long tour as you only get to see the three main rooms and one side room but is it charming and interesting. I do feel that the entry fee of 7.50 Euros each was a bit steep but we did get our own private tour for this so the owner was hardly making a profit.

We had a nice time in the castle. It is special to see how such an old castle is now lived in by a family. It is a bit.far away from the larger roads, but easy to find with sat navigation. The garden is also lovely.
The tour guide spoke English very well.

Beautiful fairytale like castle in a lovely setting. Not always open to the public, so check before you head out.
