There is a lot more to Smith St than alternative culture. 4 x 50, or nearly 50 have stayed in a fantastic apartment in Stanley St Collingwood and walked up and down Smith St for the past week to find so many great small businesses....More

This is a really nice road to walk down with great places to eat and drink. You will definitely be able to find a restaurant here for everyone and its easily accessible with public transport.

I’m sure some might complain over the last two decades on development and gentrification but Smith now feels safer. Fantastic down-to-earth vibe, ‘normal’ people and wide range of shops to cater for bodies, tummies or eyes. Remains my go-to when visit inner north Melbourne.

Do yourself a favour and walk to Oxford Street from Smith Street. It is an old industrial area of Melbourne it is well looked after and beautiful brick work.

I avoid the area for the simple fact the council have got greedy with its parking charges. The street is up and coming and there are some great places but why go when you cannot park anywhere without at least 5 bucks in the meter,...More
