It was a very pleasant discovery this park. There are many species of trees, nice flowers and the lakes with yellow and pink waterlilies are a marvel! It is worth at least a half-day’s visit. We enjoyed it a lot!

Simeria Arboretum contains trees from all over the world. The entrance fee is small( 4 lei for adults / 0.86 €). The paths are not well maintained, so watch for your step. Get some water with you.

Lovely for various length walks. Steep slopes to get to the paths though. Good weather needed for this outing.

A very nice activity for a sunny afternoon. Unfortunately you can easily wonder around because there are no indicators inside . There are a lot of trees that you can admire and flowers depending on the season.

The most interesting thing here is the tree trunks at the entrance. You can count the number of rings of various species of trees. That's about it. Watch out for mosquitoes. I think 5 lei to get in. A quick 30 min walk will suffice....More
