Lovely and peaceful, plenty of stopping points to pull over and take pictures. Very picturesque and serene, there are also hotels along the way if you want to stop for the night

Impressive dam as well as the road to this place coming from Curtea de Arges. The best time to visit is from July to September when the Transfagarasan road is open, but we didn't have this opportunity. However, it was nice with extraordinarry views.

The landscape here is amazing and beautiful. It`s a great place to a weekend getaway. If you go up to the statue the view over the lake is amazing.
