I visited Abbots Oak for Sunday lunch on impulse. As I booked for 1pm, I managed to have one of the smaller oak-panelled dining rooms to myself. I ordered a main course of roast lamb, accompanied by a very good Malbec, and dessert of sticky...More

Had an excellent meal at Abbots Oak Manor on Thursday for their steak night. Steak was cooked to perfection and presented well. Service was great and the ambiance of the venue is wonderful. I will centrally be coming back!

We arrived at 4pm and chose from the lunch menu. The meals were delicious. The place itself is amazing if you’re interested in local history and even if you’re not! The owners are very hospitable. Will definitely return.

We stayed one night at Abbots Oak Manor. We were really looking forward to it as it looked like exactly the sort of place we love, luxury, quirky, unique building and informal, not run corporately. Restaurant and bar in the hotel which is also great!...More

Paul is the chef there, they are still only doing limited evenings at the moment. But planning on extending that shortly. The internal works are complete, just the gardens to go.
