Extraordinary! We have seen places of worship on mountain tops, islands, gorges, etc. but never in a mine. This was a treat to experience.

A Clean friendly park-like atmosphere with a few souvenir stalls. The Botanical gardening and the Miners Monument are worth a photo or two. Put a person or two in the scenery to remember the day.

This is located at the entrance to the cathedral where you buy the tickets so you literally can not miss it. There are a couple of food shacks, canopy, a climbing wall, souvenirs.... nice spot. Only come if you are headed to the salt cathedral,...More

Really just a place to hang around before and after visiting the cathedral. There is a short zip wire and a couple of dogs which chase every user. Coffee stands, the entrances to the cathedral and brine museum and good views over the city.

It is the entrance of Salt Cathedral, so you pass through to enter in the mine. It is an ok place. Nothing special

Is a beautiful place with a lot of art, gift shops and local foods. You will have a great time here. You can just relax, enjoy locals doing mini shows, have a local dinner or just buy some gifts. It's a good experience.

This is new from when I came in 1970's. I love the dedication to the men who made the Salt Cathedral possible.

The train was very affordable. I want to say around $30 per round trip ticket, but I can't recall exactly. There are a few stations around town. You can buy tickets directly from the station the day of the trip. It was a... More
