It is so nice and refreshing to go trekking without a line of people. This part of the world is still not a huge destination and I could't have been any happier!

One of the most beautiful hiking place I have ever been. We did 4 days hike and it was amazing! We met only few people so it gives to area wilder face.

Having driven up several valleys in the Karakol area, this one I find one of the most remarkable. I thought around every corner was yet another picturesque moment. I would prefer to hike single-track trails than the two-track road, but vehicles were relatively infrequently. Locals...More

Karakol Valley is great for all visitors of Karakol, who want to spend the day in the beautiful nature and don't want to overcome high altitudes. The valley with alpine sceneries, with dirt road and paths, is growing slowly behind Karakol and offers several kilometres...More

This gorge comes into it's own once you pass the washed out section of the 4WD track. The valley will open up with pine tress meeting the valley floor with horses grazing peacefully and drinking from the stream. It is like a lost world. Idyllic...More

In one day you can hike a a decent distance into the Gorge and get to really see what the area has to offer. On the same road that will take you up to the Karakol Ski Lodge.
