First of all...."White Beach" isn't white sand beach. This was the code name for the location of the beach near Tacloban airport in World War II. Just like Red Beach in Palo and I think Yellow Beach in Dulag. Each beach were allied landing zones....More

This isn't in Tacloban. San on the beaches in the City is dark to brownish, and the water is polluted.

As the name makes clear the white beach sand is smooth and the its a great place to go swimming and boating too, The nearby fishing area gives you a chance to hone your fishing skills too.

I live here at Tacloban for 18 years but I don't know if where is that "White Beach", they said. I only know the "Red Beach" at Brgy. Baras Palo Leyte.

A friend of mine brought us here within our leytetouring. Nice white sand beach, good for children to play at at. My kids loved it so much to build sandcastles with this fine white sand

Too many vendors selling garbage. I was harassed mercilessly. The beach is sandy but the actual water has a shelly bottom.

i love this beautiful beach. a perfect place for relaxation and family gatherings or just for walking and unwinding......

Or I think they're referring to Dio Island in San Jose Tacloban. It's that small island you can see from the airport.
