Do not get this confused with Frederiksborg which is a castle. This is a nice building but you can't enter it other than a couple of months of the year around the summer. There's a very nice gardens and lake but there's not too much...More

This is a very beautiful place with great views. The art in this castle is absolutely breathtaking, way better than any of the local art galleries. There is a good range of old and new art in many styles, and there are some familiar faces!...More

This is well worth the time and money to visit. It makes for a very imposing castle and all the signage is translated into English so you ddont miss anything.

The collection of paintings is fantastic, as are the interiors, and the items of old. There is a resemblance to many other European courts and castles, just in smaller scale, you can easily get it all within couple of hours. If you liked Rosenborg caste...More

This was extremely beautiful and I expect on a beautiful summers day it would be amazing even more so! I saw a lot of kids going up to the top of the grass bit and rolling down and down! I would've loved doing that as...More

This one building puts everything in the USA to shame ... its pure unadulterated opulence ! Lavish halls gilded in gold and full of fantastic art. Some things that really stuck out to me were the amazing former armory at the beginning, especially the relief...More

A completely mesmerising sight. My suggestions for anyone wanting to visit (which you should) is that, don’t go if it’s raining and make sure you go when it’s light for photos, but also stay until it is dark and the palace is lit up.

I am afraid it is not, at first look there is 9 zones in between Sydhavnen and Hillerød Stations. You can buy extra zones ticket at internet or at the stations in a ticket machine

It is actually a military facility now - so one can only see the church (if I remenber correctly). The park is nice tough. You can go to Rosenborg Slot instead - this is were the crown jewels are kep.
