Sur la route entre Kpalimé et Lomé, se trouve la cascade de Kpimé, à 15km de Kpalimé. La cascade est annoncée de la route, on l'a voit d'ailleurs très bien.

Entrance fee 1000cfa. We were obliged to take a guide and he asked 10000cfa. Negotiated 6000cfa, 3 persons in our group. Nice walk up to water basin above but waterfall isn't worth visiting

This tourist site is in the Republic of Togo but as a tour guide, we always connect to this site from the Volta Region, Ghana. We travelled through an undulating type of road which made it all exciting for the tourist. Nature at its best,...More

Please do not dive into the water since it's the main water source for kpalime. I was there doing a workcamp in a disable school (envol) with an association ASTOVOT partner of SCI. Amazing people.

After traveling for over two weeks, we visited the waterfall. After not having showered with more than a small bucket of water the last few weeks. We were all eager to go to the waterfall. We went there by bus. The last bit was very...More

At arrival we got little information on the 3 cascades that we could visit. To visit the cascade on top of the mountain, we needed to drive on a very bad road, and walk for about 20 minutes through the woods. The guide that accompanied...More

This is a must visit in Togo apart from the familiar beach resorts in lome. Look out for the right season to visit. We visited in may-june, when the water was less. It is good escape from the city.

The Cascade de Kpime was a wonderful, intense hike (if you start at the bottom instead of driving halfway up). The falls were beautiful! We took our dogs and we got some great exercise. When we went back last week though, we spoke with a...More

12km off highway from kpalime (going towards atakpame). Look for signage on the way showing direction. (turn left)---go straight to the waterfall gates. 5mins walk to the falls. Climb down in another 5mins....enjoy. Sometimes they cut off water from falls.....diverted to power generating station. You...More

It's a lovely waterfall, but it's all about getting the right guide. My guide arranged motorbikes, and frankly I'd rather have used a 4WD. I'd wanted to hike, but we spent most of the 4 hours on the bikes. A pleasant day, but not what...More
