The atmosphere was special and interesting. A lot of places to visit and take pictures of. Many nice people to talk to or just take a selfie with a monk as I did. The view was very good from the top.

This is one of the most central sites in South Asia. It is a beautiful pyramid with dozens of Buddha figures. Get there for the sunrise tours.

Architecturally stunning and steeped in history, Borobudur Temple is definitely a must-see for everyone who visits this area! The sunrise was breathtaking and the whole site is just so aesthetically pleasing. Do spend time to appreciate the intricate carvings and beautiful scenery!

When I wanted to see the sunrise all Gates where closed, they openend too late for te sunrise. We went up a maintain nearby where there is a lookout. I don’t now the name anymore but the locals told us.
