First time visiting this place and enjoyed it.

Lovely sea you could be in the Caribean the water is that clear. Nice promenade and plenty of decent bars.

Perfect for a couple of hours visit and would return .

A quite beautiful beach, clean, with white stones, if you are not a good swimmer you have to be careful because the entrance to the sea is not very smooth, but the view is delightful.

One of the busiest evenings of the year on the playa as locally the 23rd /24 of june is marked by the feast of San Juan and the summer solstice celebrations making it a very vibrant evening with familial groups enjoying picnics, music and the bonfire.

A wonderful place to dance Argentine Tango at the Esplanade just off the beach.

We didn't try any of the restaurants.

El Albir looks a lot more refined than Benidorm.

Apparently, the majority of tourists and foreign residents are Norwegian.

Beautiful area to visit and only 15 minutes from Benidorm. Albir appears to be a stylish resort with a quality beach front. A must go if in the area.

Lovely area with a beautiful marina, with a few wee bars and restaurants along the promenade.

We got the bus from Benidorm for 6 euros each way, got off at the end of the beach at Altea and walked back along to Albir, stopped off in a few different bars for drinks and just people watched, loved it here it’s very laid back atmosphere.

This was a pebble beach, so we brought our beach shoes (the type you can wear in the water). The beach was very busy with people enjoying water sports. We hired sunbeds and an umbrella, because it would have been too uncomfortable to sit on the beach. The beach was surrounded by magnificent mountain views and a light house.

There was a lovely promenade area with several places to eat and drink, a small funfair and a boardwalk. I believe its about a 40 minute walk to Altea Beach. We didn't do the the walk ourselves, because on the day we visited it was far too hot.

Absolutely beautiful beach with loads of loungers to hire. Gorgeous view and plenty of activities if you wish, including paddle board or pedalo hire.

It's a pebble beach though so pick up a pair of swim shoes with rubber soles to really make the most of it. It can be uncomfortable to walk on and while swimming but with the shoes on you'll have no issues. Well worth the 10 euros we spent in the local Chino Baazar. ;-)
