My only complaint here is that there is not enough information around to tell you what you are seeing. It would be nice to know what ruins you are looking at when walking around. Other than that the place is beautiful, its surreal walking around...More

it was a beautiful and pretty large site. We only paid 5,000 Lebanese pounds per person, but we were with 2 Lebanese locals, so that may be why it was so cheap to get in. We spent several hours there, playing and taking photos. Great...More

The Al-Bass location with the Necropolis and Hippodrome were fascinating. I wish we would have hired a guide or read up more on the area. The uncovered Roman road and the restored arches were beautiful. The grounds of the hippodrome are expansive. We enjoyed seeing...More

A fantastic site. Well worth seeing. It was in the heat of July for us, not a good idea. I took hundreds of photos, I really enjoyed it.

This is an amazing place. I can spend hours here. Add to that the necropolis next to it and it is photographically fabulous. These days the track is used by joggers ... everything from full abayas and hijab to more regular athletic gear. Can't recommend...More

Very beautiful archeological site. Very close to the beach. Good to bring kids. Very affordable entrance fees for tourists.
