While more quaint than authentic, this little side attraction is worth the visit if looking for things to do in the Gero area. Several A-framed structures show life during feudal agrarian times.
Worth to come and have a walk. The lovely village showed its tradition and culture. We were here in winter. It was really freezing outside. We found there was a "resting game room" with heater for tourist to take a rest. : )

This is a small museum type historical village. Generally ok but should not expect anything close to the Shirakawa-go.
This is a small rebuilt village to replicate the Edo period. It is quite a pretty place and worth a look. Great views can be seen from the place!
