A good beach to spend your evening sunset in Kollam. Grab a bite with some street food. A kids park is just across too. Gets very crowded on weekends and holidays.

We enjoyed walking along the beach, but it is primarily a place for the locals, and doesn't really cater for tourists. It has got lots of litter strewn around the sands, which is not uncommon in India. Nice long stretch of sand though.

Great place to hangout. We went there in the evening the beach was clean and lots of people are chilling by the sea, enjoying the sea shore the view is just breathtaking.

Nice to visit late afternoon, buy some roasted nits and mingle with locals. Not clean and no swimming as dangerous currents!

Beach surrounding is good and well maintained. One cannot go deep into the waters, as it is very deep and not good for swimming. Just around 2 kms from the main Kollam bus station.
