The beautiful city of Caltagirone, in the area of Catania, will enchant you with its ceramics. The public villa is a relaxing way to walk.

A geocache brought us here
Oct 2019
We wouldn't have found this lovely park, if it hadn't been for seeing there was a geocache there, so thanks to geocaching for bringing us here. We had a lovely walk through the gardens.

Lovely park with beautiful ceramic balustrades
Sep 2018 • Couples
A lovely public garden in the centre of the town. The balustrades around the park and the bandstand are beautifully decorated in ceramic tiles for which the town is known.

Some sections need some TLC

I am glad I went and wandered around a bit. There was a staff member doing some work but there were paths there were closed, litter and some broken bits on fountains which was a shame.

Lots of potential just needs more maintenance
Oct 2017 • Couples
Spent some time wandering round the gardens and were a bit disappointed at the condition of the infer structure, lots of broken ceramics, the bandstand structure cordoned off and potholes in the pathways. We had a coffee at the cafe and got good service and good coffee. We thought we might look round the ceramics museum but the stairway to it was cordoned off, so we gave up!

Gardens are beautiful
Sep 2016 • Family
We went on the small train that takes you on a tour of the city/town, and the gardens albeit we were there for a brief time were amazing, grass was neatly cut , flower beds blooming, trees for shade and the monument near the centre is to die for.

Winter visit
Dec 2016 • Couples
Even in the winter with little to nothing in bloom, this garden is unique and beautiful. We'll definitely be back in the Spring or Summer. The town is known for it's ceramic and the garden is full of beautiful examples!

Pretty, Quiet Park
Oct 2016 • Couples
The park is fairly small, but pretty with lots of trees. It's a good spot to relax and cool off. There is a small cafe near the cupola.
