Beautiful place to visit even in October. Intriguing landscaping. Wonderful conservatory restoration. Fascinating gardener's room. Superb, relaxing parkland with wonderful trees and lake.

Hi Rose, Scampston is still privately owned, and lived in by the family. It is a member of the Historic Houses Association, so HHA members get free entry. Thanks, Izzy
