The main church in Palmanova was built starting from 16006, and it was completed in 1636 in a late-Renaissance / Baroque style. It is in the main square of the city. Both the exterior and the interior are not really interesting (to me!).

You have to check out the main attraction of the square. This church looks beautiful from the outside and inside.
A must!

Unfortunately I did not have time to enter it, but just from the outside it looks nice and elegant. But from what I've seen on pictures of other travelers, I would recommend to enter it and admire it not just from the outside. It is practically on the main square so it is a must-see.

Unexpectedly beautiful. Total contrast between inside (beautiful paintings and artifacts) and outside (plain and functional great piazza). Worth a visit if you are into churches.

Nicely proportioned, classical style church with interesting ornaments. The large cruciform reliquary display is a fine example of the jeweller's art.

Italy is so graced with amazing churches that this doesn’t stand out but it’s place in the grand piazza and its interesting enough interiors make it worth a short visit

What to me was really amazing was the fact that the facade of the church was bent inwards, something you can only realize if you look at it from the side. It makes a great couple with the tower of Pisa!

Lovely dome to visit, the square is full of cafeterias to enjoy your stay there. Worth to visit when you are in Palmanova

The church is very similar to many other churches in Italy. But they did a wonderful job in maintaining the painting in the main altar - the depth and vibrant color of the painting in the ceiling dome is great.

I am most impressed by the mosaic painting along the wall just outside the chapel. It is so colorful and detail. The chapel is on the left side of the sanctuary, don't miss it.

Italy is full of churches, this one is nothing special, but worth spending a while. Just go inside and light a candle for any of your family or friends.
