After being in great places like Oaxaca City and even Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, I don't see the appeal of Tequila, Jalisco as a "Pueblo Magico" (magical town). Might be all the people drunk on Tequila. Most of the town is quite poor and with not much...More

Nice plaza to sit down and relax if you had a bit too much at the distilleries. View is good, pace is relaxed, and people watching is entertaining.

This church has TONS of gilded decor, really unusual old door and cute plaza facing. Seems like, as you'd expect, it's used for important events--the day we were there it was a possibly college graduation. Very interesting.

There isn't much to see in Tequila but this little plaza is very nice. They have multiple shops selling very nice items and they also have a lot of food around. Worth a quick visit after a Jose Cuervo Tour.

This is the town's main church, and one with a great deal of history. Be sure to take the guided tour, eat in one of the numerous restaurants around it, and drink a tejuino with beer in front of it.

The dates on the church are surprisingly old. The door is amazing and the indoors will make your jaw drop if you enjoy historic places. The square in front is huge and there is another small church across the street.

Original wood floors. I happened to stop by during a mass and was not able to tour more of the church.

What a GREAT surprise to realize Tequila has some an amazing church. The church and the city square are the centerpieces of the city. There are no angles that produce a bad photo of this place. Inside there's a comfortable scent of wood.

This is a beautiful parroquia! When you walk in ...you feel goose bumps! Its a place to feel at peace and the wood work is amazing! This is a building that makes the town of Tequila very rich in architectural culture!

Tequila is a beautiful Mexican town so it is worth walking downtown and going into Parroquia Santiago Apostol Church which has a beautiful architecture. You can also eat near by and have a popular Garrafa icecream! I would recommend this for a Business trip, Couples...More
