The freshness of the produce, the stall holders are not pushy and allow you to look and touch the produce, prices are very good under these trying conditions..

Ripped off by woman, despite bartering with her.

Interesting location to visit, but I wouldn't buy anything there as most things are available at a cheaper price elsewhere, such as herbs from the supermarkets etc.

They offered a cloth at IDP 80000, and we managed to get 2 clothes at IDP 50000. Must hardly barging the price with them. Just walk to other stall if they are not agreed with the price u offered.

This is a real tourist market selling fresh food, fruit and vegetables also many clothing stores and gift type Balinese handy craft. Surrounded outside by strawberry and cracker sellers.
If you want cheaper local fresh veggies etc, there is a local market down the hill near the golf course.. Panda Sari.

A small open air market on the way to Lovina, making it a great spot to stretch. Best two things there in my opinion are the unexpected but super clean and well maintained western toilets located in the top left, and Eat Drink Love (restaurant and wisdom art shop, according to their business card) which you pass to get to the toilet. I don't like the pushiness of some sellers, and some of the ridiculous opening prices for both souvenirs and fresh produce. I don't mind a bit of bartering, it's expected, but when opening price is about 5 times what can be paid elsewhere, I honestly can't be bothered, so they lose customers. So, these markets are worth a visit for the good reasons!

This market is located near to the Botanical Garden and the Buyan Lake in Bedugul. You can find some tropical fruits and some baliness souveniers in this market. Basically, people came here to by some food and or fruits before going to relaxing their body at the Botanical Garden and the Lake. Make sure that all items still can be bargained.

There are two markets in Bedugul. Pasar Merta Sari for tourists which is in front of Lake Bratan, and Pasar Jabe Puri Gede, Panca Sari, which is a traditional wet market place for the needs and lives of the people of Bedugul town.

A tourist trap. Merta Sari market is the center of Bedugul. Strategically located between the sports attraction center of the lake, botanical garden and Ulun Danu temple, Similar market with Sukawati and Ubud market, but smaller. This touristy market sells cloths, souvenirs, herbs and spices, street food, snacks, veggies & fruits, nursery, arts and Eat, Drink, Love café. If you want to be a local, go to this place.
In the afternoon, this market is clouded by mists, a really look and feel of a mountain town. Shops started to turn on the lights, and after 6pm this place turns to quietude.
Get some local snacks, and steamed corned colored with turmerics. Strawberry is plenty and cheap.
