Mine dropper war sahip where used Dardanella war. Iresistable,goliat and a few english qnd french war ship touch subsea mine and blast.

Awesome ship, miles inland! Although it is not really a museum, it is a great place to learn a bit of the Turkish Navy. You get to walk all over the decks of the ship and see replica life sized mines. My children loved it.

Located on the D-400, just west of the turn-off to go into Tarsus, the Nusret Minelayer ship is a vintage WWI vessel that has an unexpected history. The ship saw action during the first World War laying mines, and exchanged hands prior to being acquired...More

This small ship changed the history in WW1 by putting mines in the Canakkale channel. The mines Nusret Ship put destroyed a big part of the enemy forces. You can see her in original. A piece of history.

Nusret minelayer ship is a hero of Battle of Gallipoli in WW1. She is in a nice park now in Tarsus as a museum. It is moving to visit this museum and thinking thousands of young people who lost their lives in the battle.
