We stopped by this city to eat. Did not have any plans. Just another beautiful Tuscan city. Just drop by it if yiu are around it has nice building and small streets.

This was an unforgettable experience in the small town of Monte San Savino. Hotel was excelent, excellent location. Staff was very helpful, and we were very soon friends with them. Always smiling, and the always made us smile. Nothing was a problem for them. We certainly recommend this place strongly..

This small space with elegant colonnade is as fine as almost anything you will find in Florence. Opposite is the Palazzo Del Monte, the Town Hall. You can walk through to get to the splendid gardens. The Palazzo is a fine example of Renaissance architecture. On your left as you are entering the Palazzo, please note the list of the soldiers who died in World Wars I and II; such a huge number from such a small village. Spare a thought for them and their families if you would.

Small if compared with cities like Florence but anyway worth a look and a click. You encounter it for sure along your walk in monte San savino
