Ranger talks!

It's a huge national park teeming with wildlife, nature, water falls, wetlands, cultural sites, rock paintings & more. Spend some time. Enjoy.

World Heritage site for both its environment and its living Aboriginal culture. Nearly 2/3 of the size of my country. Stayed for 3 days and it feels like I've heard touched its surface. One enormous environmental issue in the park: the Ranger Uranium Mine.

7,300 square miles of uspoiled waterways and beauty. Cruise the wetlands where you may see crocodiles and walk ancient trails to see Aboriginal rock petroglyphs at Nourlangie Rock.

Kakadu National Park is one of the most amazing and diverse parks we have visited. There is an incredible amount of things to see and do, natural and cultural. A trip to this area should be on ever ones bucket list.

Kakadu National Park has always been on my bucket list with visions of moody wetlands, crocodiles, and vast kilometres of rain forest, creeks, and ravines, so I was really looking forward to our day out from Darwin with Grayline coaches. It was not a costly at $277 per person for a 13-hour day trip that included buffet lunch with cold... More

We recently did a 3-Day camping tour with "Wayoutback" with Rowdy as our tour guide from 27-29 Dec 2016. As it was a wet season, quite a few attractions like Jim Jim and Florence falls were closed. However, Rowdy was quite resourceful and took us to other waterholes where we could swim and cool down. Camp sites were average and... More

A wonderful tour guide made a visit to Kakadu National Park a great experience. Visiting at the start of wet season, we saw lovely vistas of waterlillies and wildlife in a spectacular setting.
