We're currently in Kakadu and are loving the experience - it's everything we expected and more! The highlight for us was the dawn cruise on the Yellow Waters - absolutely fabulous!

Loved this national park so full of wonderful hide outs. We recommend a full 4x4 so you can access all of the hidden gems

Don't bother coming here without a 4WD. We couldn't get to 90% of the park. It was a waste of time. All I saw were lots of trees and some rock art.

Many told us that Litchfield and Katherine would be better so we didn't start with great expectations. Nevertheless we absolutely loved the park! Fantastic views at Unit, great camping and the size of the park is really impressive!

Lots of great scenery and changing landscapes to see. Heaps of rock art and different plant life. The park puts on some fantastic talks and activities such as painting and crocs. We had ranger Luke 3 times who was very informative.

The park is huge and it will take time to see even a small part of it. Jabiru or Cooinda are the two best base camps for this unless you go camping for real. Jabiru has places to pick up provisions, but the supermarket closes...More

Good spot to see if you have the time in the top end. Lots and lots of driving and walking between each site but worth it. We went in June and the weather was good, mozzies were awful. Cooinda lodge is nice and central to...More

I spent two days in Kakadu National park, taking in Jabiru, Ubirr rock, Pine Creek and generally getting a feel of the whole area. It was marvellous.
