Wonderful place except the ticketing arrangement. Long que before you enter and very slow moving. That is the only irritating part of the tour. The Museum and the houses where Gurudev used to stay is just amazing.

I think there is no facility to have an official guide from Viswa- Bharti, but there are plenty of private guide whom you will found near entrance. Charges must be negotiated accordingly.

The site is only close on wednessay, thusday and all Govt. holidays. Vashant utsab is one of the biggest festival of Viswa Bharati. The festival mainly celebrated by the Viswa Bharati's students and teachers.
