This beautiful islet is easy on the eye and not far from its neighbour North Cay.

The better known Black island is in the distance, while the redeveloped Huma Island with its (at the time of writing) typhoon damaged resort) is a few kilometres away if that.

Snorkelling was quite good, although North Cay was better.

We had been billeted at Busuanga Bay Lodge and South Cay is its own private beach. We were 3 couples scheduled that day and we literally own the islet for ourselves!

It is around 45 mins boat ride from Busuanga Bay Lodge with unlimited drinks and lunch from 10 AM to 4:30 PM. This islet is amazing!!! You can enjoy through kayak, swimming on its white beach sand or snorkeling with its amazing reefs and sea life.

I highly recommend to include this to your Busuanga Bay Lodge package. Amidst secluded, you can't believe it has full bars of signal from nearby cellular tower.

Loved this islet. Spent a day here and enjoyed swimming and kayaking, and snorkeling around it. There's a coral reef just a few yards away.

Its a 1 yr old island and so trees are just planted. Imagine the heat reflecting on the sand 🔥🌵😲 There are few hut to stay on. Kayaking can be done though.

Coming from singapore there's hardly any untouched clean waters and south cay which we went on as part of our safari package was amazing. Fish were abundant near the shore, water so clean you don't even need snorkling gear that much to see them. Love this place but there's isnt much else going on the island itself so its more for visiting and relaxing

South Cay is about 40 minutes away from Busuanga Bay Lodge. Admittedly, the island is a bit hot since there are practically no trees and the sun is shining harshly. However, coconut trees are already starting to grow.

Disregarding the heat (perfect for those looking to get a tan), the beach is pretty nice. They have huts overlooking the sea. You can choose to just lounge or bathe in the waters. Snorkeling and kayaking are recommended activities.

For someone looking into spending a day just relaxing away from the bustle of accessible places, this is perfect. As part of the package, there's delicious lunch and unlimited drinks.

This island could be further improved by making it more green. Not only trees but maybe shrubs as well and flowers.
