Beautiful lagoons, surrounded by limestone cliffs, with interesting water - cold on top and warm at the bottom due to the mix of freshwater from the land and saltwater from the sea. We were brought to the smaller lagoon (still felt huge and deep) and there were few groups of people swimming. The great acoustics added to the fun.

This place is awesome, beware of the sharp rocks before you arrive here, best ot have on swim shoes. But, it is lovely once you get here, I don't how people get on top of that laddler cause it is a little high when you are in water. But hey, try it.

What a wonderful day this was. We were on a tour with a local company who were determined to show us paradise. Twin Lagoons certainly came very close. The countryside is rugged and rock formations take your breath away. We snorkelled the first lagoon then swam under a low rock formation into the second. The water is unbelievably clear and the sun shone brightly all day. The weather was so kind to us on the tour of so many beautiful lakes and lagoons. There's no way I could pick a favourite. All day was filled with beauty and contrasts. We were even taken to a very pretty beach where our tour met up with several other groups for a buffet luncheon and another swim. I'd love to do this tour again. The Philippines has so many secrets with happy friendly and very knowledgeable people willing to share their special locations.

The lakes are must for your island hopping in Coron. There are 2 was to enter Twin Lagoon. One is in shallow water but that means you have a long swim to other part of the lagoon, The other is in deeper water with a shorter swim. Either way having fins will help with the swim.

Can you climb the stairs? Or can you pass through the 2 rocks without having an anxiety attack? If you can do any, then go and visit. The water is clear and deep.

Crystal clear water, peaceful, calm.. of course some tourists also but to each his own. We came later in the day so it's high tide, the separation between lagoons are not that visible not unless you swim underneath.. or a ladder is there which is of course slippery to go to the other side of the lagoon.. didn't bother to climb..my daughter said they're just the same..so just floated all my miseries and stresses away.. tell you..Coron is just an unbelievable experience and I know I will be back to this beauty !!

Whenever I go on vacation, I don't expect to see places I would want to revisit. Ideally, I prefer going to new places each time. But the places I visited in Coron are an exception; I would definitely go back for many of its magical attractions, including the Twin Lagoon. It's great to take a dip here and take in the beauty of the place. It's deep so every person who enters the Twin Lagoon is required to wear a life vest. Definitely worth the trip!

The best part was paddling the kayak from Balinsasayaw Resort! Twin lagoon ok, very busy. Every time I put my foot down a fish nipped it! Ouch.
On the must do list but actually not that wow.

Hi, if you are on a tour is it a long walk and stairs to climb to get to the lake?

the twin lagoon can be accessed by swimming from the shallow waters where the boats are docked.
the stairs are just a few steps going up and down.
i did not take the steps since there were a number of people who were climbing.
it is quite a long swim, though. about 100 meters. there are kayaks for rent for those who do not want to swim towards the second lagoon.
enjoy coron!

You can go on an organised tour ( will be a bigger boat with a group of tourists) or hire a private bankka. We spoke to our hotel and they arranged for us to meet up with a guy who organised the boat hire they dropped us off at the dock, they will even take you to the local market and get food and charcoal for an onboard bbq.

How deep is the twin lagoon? I love playing in the water but I can't swim.

Who did you use for this tour? Open to group or private would be nice if not too expensive. Should we book in advance or do you just book that morning in town? Is it doable to visit Twin Lagoons & Malcapuya Beach in the same day, or too rushed? Thank you!

We were a group of 8 and I booked the tours through our hotel.. We stayed at the Two Seasons Bayfront.. Book a hotel located in town. It will save you money. Tours are cheaper from the town as compared to tours from the island resorts. If you live in town your tour includes the boat . When booking tours from an island resort you pay separately for the boat and for the tour.
The tours take you to different islands in a day . Choose the tour that you wish.. Twin Lagoons is a must. I enjoyed Siete Pecados the most. I did not get to see Malcapuya but there are tours that go to that island.. Our day tour took us to 7 different places for the price of less than $40.
I will try o check the name of the tour group we took as of now I can only recall the name of the guide..
I will be happy to answer any other inquiries you may have,,,,I want you to enjoy Coron as much as I did..
