we climbed around 200 steps to get to this church, with bamboo railings on the side of the stairway going up. Internal and external part of the church is covered with broken stones, it's windows are made up of bamboo materials. Great architecture, simple yet sophisticated design.
Pros: One of a kind design in the Philippines; sense of serenity when your inside the church; great view when your standing on the church, its overlooking the surrounding area; FREE entrance
Cons: around 15 kms from Coron;

This was part of our Calauit Safari Tour when we visited Coron a few days ago. The facade of the church (more of a chapel) is really good though it is located in an upper deck so a little trekking is required. The view atop is great, so don’t miss it.
There is a small house at the foothill of the mountain where you can take break, take a leak at a minimal cost or have a quick merienda since there is a small store.
