Lots of fun, but not perfect for young kids
Oct 2016
Came here with 3 children aged 5 1/2 to 8 years and this Kletterpark is a lot less rewarding for this age group than the sister park in Rosenburg and several other parks we have visited. For starters kids under 14 are not allowed to climb without parents and it became clear quickly why that is: there is not a chance at all for kids below 140cm I'd say to reach the wires where the carabiners need clipping in in many positions. The signs say 110cm minimum height, but that's simply not the case. (our 8 year old is 135cm tall and she could not reach a good 60% of the wires by herself and needed help constantly although she is a confident climber). On the plus side the carabiners are of the new super safe type - you can't make a mistake with these as one has got to be shut when the other is open - so that's great and the children learned that new system very quickly (not so much the adults - hahaha). The routes are ok, but not signed well enough - so it's kind of hard to find where one starts and sometimes it's unclear how certain obstacles are meant to be conquered (a little pictorial on the tree might help that). There is a tiny parcours for really small kids, which is sweet, but there is a bit of a lack of "stuff in the middle", that 5 - 9 year olds could climb by themselves. Our daughter had such fun at the sister park and felt so immensely exhilarated that she managed to climb 2 complete parcours without any help at all - so I think the team is missing a chance here to appeal to the younger climbers. All in all the afternoon was fun though, the team is very friendly and competent, the park is clean and has a safe feel, the equipment is great and the restaurant next door serves nice snacks, lovely coffee and a great hot chocolate, too. So thank you, we will be back, but might do a bit of growing in between.....

Swing like Tarzan..... ore like a monkey...

That is some fun park. Many different parkours i.e different difficulties, but all manageable . In between high trees and ponds and creeks and the Dino park below, what else can you ask for in an adventure . The staff gives you a good introduction and off you go. Some of the stuff I had to really try hard, my son (9 years) just zip lined them... Thats not fair.. but the zip line I was on was awesome. After 2 hours I was genuinely tired and had a drink at the little hut DOWNSTAIRS.....My kids (11 and 9) were enthusiastic and want to come again.
