Great place to visit. Beautiful walks. Plenty parking, cafe with homade food. Camping site. Activitys land and water. Love visiting the lake with family.

Had a great day up at Wimbleball doing a windsurfing instructor refresher. The staff were very accommodating and friendly coupled with a fantastic location. This area of outstanding natural beauty comes highly recommended.

Beautiful place to go for a walk. However be aware that the drive to get there is down very narrow lanes from whichever direction you approach. If you can cope with having to stop, reverse to let others pass, you will be rewarded on arrival...More

Beautiful place to visit for many activities including walking, cycling, boating... Stunning views from the Dam! Easy to spend a few hours here just exploring, it really is a lovely place.

I'm very late in answering your question, but my guess is that some dogs off leads can scare children and worry animals. Therefore, it's better if there is one rule for all.
