A charming hidden gem!
Sep 2021 • Couples
An absolutely delightful way to spend an afternoon in the most beautiful, charming and tranquil Devon countryside. Loads to do and see, including a tractor-driven trailer ride, and lots to learn. A first class attraction that will not break the bank - perfect for families with younger children and, indeed, for everyone.

The inspiration for War Horse
Aug 2021 • Family
This was a great place to visit for the afternoon, the entry price was very reasonable for the facilities available. But some of the attractions are a bit threadbare. The animals look well maintained. It has been great to visit the inspiration for Michael Morpurgo’s war horse. Enjoyed the larger tractor peddle go carts. All in all a good visit.

Fantastic!
Aug 2021
We have just returned from a wonderful afternoon at the farm park and the best way to describe it is simply... brilliant! Very good value for money, wonderful calm atmosphere, plenty of fun activities for the kids (5,6,8,11) and such friendly staff. We enjoyed feeding the animals, playing in the games barn, a yummy cream tea and our favourite, the tractor ride. The farm manager was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer! 6pm came around very quickly and we didn't want to leave. Thank you for having us, we will be back!

Fantastic! Highly recommended.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. Really easy to fill the 4 hours that the farm is open. Fantastic value for money. Wonderful tea room. Lovely country trail for the kids, War Horse and WWII exhibit very interesting. Lovely animals which the children can feed. Go karts. Fun tractor/trailer ride with a very intelligent sheep dog!
Friendly staff. We all had such a good afternoon! Highly recommended.

What a find!
Aug 2021 • Family
This was an amazing find, a real local attraction. Very good value £6 per adult, £4 per child. The man who runs it is so knowledgeable about his farming and all the animals.
Lovely tea room, again super good value. Cream tea was superb with homemade jam or there are plenty of other cakes to choose from.
Really enjoyed the WW1 museum and the trench, was really interesting and well done. Along with the old farming equipment on display.
My children 3 & 7 thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The trail to look for the marked rollers is a laugh and an experience as is the tractor ride, where the farmers dogs herd the cows to come up close to you!!!!
Please note that the farm is open 2-6 as this caught us out!!!!

A wonderful afternoon for all the family. 3 generations thoroughly enjoyed the visit with opportunities for feeding a variety of animals, a very informative tractor ride, and a trail for the children. Amazing tea room to finish. Excellent value.

A great family visit to a farm park
Aug 2021 • Family
A beautiful independently run family farm park with lots to see and do. Cows, sheep, alpacas, pigs, lambs, farm trail, tractor rides, world war 1 museum. Tea shop. Suitable for ages 1 - 12 (probably not interesting to teens). Pedal tractors, ping pong, table football…..

Great little farm park
Aug 2021 • Family
We came along today as 2 parents, 2 grandparents and a 5yr old and loved it! Only open from 2-6 but that’s plenty of time to have a good look around all the museum bits about warhorse and how the farming used to work before modern machinery, as well as see all the animals - feeding the alpacas was a huge hit as well as so many little extra games and activities. Definitely worth a visit for a few hours in the afternoon

Amazing farm experience!
Aug 2021 • Family
Fantastic day out with husband and 2 pre-teens aged 10 and 12. So well organised and the animals so well cared for. Came here on the off chance after picking up a leaflet in Braunton museum and had the best day ever. Lovely to get up close with the animals including alpacas, sheep and goats as well as many more. Very interesting exhibits about ww1 and the farm being the base for the War Horse novel. Very reasonable and everything included. Kids loved the tractor go-carts and trailor ride. Lovely to see a working farm open to visitors. Very friendly and knowledgeable owners Oh and the best cake and cream tea. We'll be back!
