This old church has a very simple interior, interesting that it has not been modernised. It was originally the church of the medieval village that is no longer standing. Beautiful walks around this spot

Walked here from the Swan pub. Lovely walk. History of church in a book inside very interesting. Nice to see this ancient building being used and preserved for prosperity.

St Oswald's Church is on the public foot path between Swanbrook and Burford, just west of Swanbrook. There was no service the Sunday we walked by, but the church is open with a restriction: "don't track in mud. Close door so birds don't get in"...More

We happened upon St Oswald's during a walk around the area. It was a wonderful and surprising find, clearly very old and providing an insight into the community hundreds of years ago.

This ancient, well-kept church is situated in the middle of a field surrounded by a wall. It has a fascinating history with some ancient wall-paintings. It's just off the pathway around Swinbrook.
