My husband found out about this hidden Tasmania treasure on the discovertasmania website. Even the ladies at the various information centres we visited didn't know this place existed! The road to the Reserve is mostly unsealed & had some pot-holes. We wouldn't recommend towing a...More

We only did the walk to the tall trees, not the waterfall. The trees are nice, but they are surrounded by other trees and don't really stand out. We like our tall trees, but if you have seen the ones in WA (or California), then...More

If you go off the beaten track in Tassie then it's gravel roads so don't expect to travel fast. Take it easy an enjoy the scenery as the end is always worth it. Not too many people go here and it's a really lovely spot...More

This is another of the 60 great short walks and is deep within the forest trails. At the end of a windy dirt road is a car park giving access to the "White Knights" and a waterfall. We did the trail around the White Knights....More

A good place to visit inland from the east coast. The gravel road is a bit rough getting in but the location is worth it. Tallest gum tree, good walks and beautiful stream full of trout.
