A definite must to come by and see. It dates back to 5.500Bc and is a Neolithic settlement amongst the lakes and marshes. Tour guide is good and explains everything so well. Great little tourist shop too.

Set against the idyllic backdrop of the lakeshore, this reconstruction of a Neolithic settlement will do the trick, if you are traveling with children and have trouble enticing them to sites/museums/places of historic interest. We didn't have to arrange for a guided tour, it was...More

There is no other like it as far as I know and even though it is not really big or extensive it does give you a feel of what life was like five thousand years ago. The guides help with information. Really great for kids....More

Must visit it. A 7000 years settlement of neolithic historical period. It is rebuilt from the clues of the excavation of the university of Macedonia.

this is a small openair museum where neolithic habitats have been reconstructed to give visitors an idea of how lake dwellers lived. Again it is best to join a guided tour to understand the site.
