We actually walked and drove In The area on consecutive days. Once to visit the castle and then the ranch. Forest has its own car parks, trails and sculptures to look out for so worth a visit if you like walking. Not suitable for buggies.

Nice walks around the mountain and to Castellano Coch. We went to the Three Bears Cave (which you should definitely not go in *wink*) and it was as exciting as Tongwynlais gets. Take a helmet.

nice forest particularly the area around the castel coch. you can park here or further east a mile or two away at a designated car park.

There is plenty to see and admire as you walk along the paths, there is many wooden carvings and sculptures around perfect for getting children back to nature and out of the house. this path connect to castell coch which is a charming little castle...More
